Warranty Policy

At our company, we have confidence that the products our customers purchase will align with their expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and design. In the rare event that a customer requires warranty services, it is imperative to retain the purchase invoice, and the trailer must be presented at any of our showroom in Fairfield. Warranty claims can be pursued under specific circumstances, commonly known as the right to repair or replace. The company guarantees all its distributed goods against defective parts or workmanship with the following warranty provisions:

  • 10-Year Structural Warranty on all Brand-New Trailers: This warranty excludes coverage for surface rust, mistreatment, damage, or misuse.
  • 1-Year Warranty on Leaf Springs, Lights, Wiring, Jockey Wheel, and All Other Parts.
  • Warranty Exclusion for Second-hand or Used Trailers or Goods.
  • Process for Warranty Claims: In case of issues or warranty claims, customers should promptly contact our offices. The trailer must be returned to our showroom in Fairfield for inspection or repairs. All costs associated with the return to Xtreme Trailers are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty Exclusions:

The 12-month warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear on tyres, leaf springs, etc.
  • Overloading of the trailer.
  • Discrepancies between the ordered and received trailer.
  • Incorrect manufacturing or missing parts.
  • Damage resulting from faulty or incorrect fitting.
  • Misuse, neglect, or accidents, including external causes.
  • Alterations adversely affecting performance, stability, or reliability.
  • Environmental stress such as rust.
  • Use for purposes other than its design.
  • Changes of mind, no longer required, or post-purchase damages.
  • Lack of proof of purchase (invoice).

The company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages. Where applicable, this liability will not exceed the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty becomes effective only upon full payment of the purchase price and covers a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Customers have 12 months from the trailer purchase date to report and rectify any issues. After 12 months, Xtreme Trailers assumes no responsibility for claims.

HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR TRAILER?

  • Proper Storage: Store the trailer with the front end higher than the rear to allow water to flow freely. Consider drilling holes for drainage.
  • Immediate Maintenance: Touch up scratches, stone chips, or areas of concern promptly. Galvanized trailers, tops, and cages with welded and painted parts should be regularly touched up.
  • Rust Prevention: Apply rust preventatives, fisholene, or old sump oil underneath the trailer, inside the floor area, and on all seams where moisture may accumulate. Repeat this process annually.
  • Avoidance of Corrosive Elements: Keep trailers away from saltwater, corrosive chemicals, and materials.
  • Regular Servicing: Take general care of the trailer, including servicing every 12 months, with brakes and bearings servicing every 6 months. Before every load check all fittings, latch, bolts, nuts etc for anything loose that needs to be tightened up.
